Quick question: Rendering out samples or song, no output.

Just a quick question for people using 64-bit Linux with 64-bit Renoise 3.0.1 :slight_smile:

Have you had any issues with rendering out tracks/selections or the entire song? As in do you just get a blank sample on output?

The reason I ask is because for the life of me I can’t get it to play ball. Now I tried Renoise 2.8.2 64-bit (64 bit Linux) and that works fine. But not 3.0.1. I get a blank sample. (Some would say this is a good thing with my ‘music’…but still :slight_smile: )

Can someone just verify for me that under Linux 64-bit Renoise 3.0.1 64-bit that you do get a rendered audible sample?

[Edit: After a bit of messing around I’m working again, no trouble. :)]

Yes, works for me. I really have no idea what might be causing that for you though. Can you upload a song file?

Hmm, okay sir thank you for verifying for me. Sure I can attach a quick silly ditty for you, but to be honest I don’t think it will make much difference as it only contains simple samples, there are no DSSI,VST plugins or anything. It is strange :slight_smile:
