Quneo + Duplex

Sounds like it has some sort of default, built-in visual response. Which Duplex application are you trying to run?
Perhaps you could disable that somehow in the Quneo editor, and see if that makes the script work?

Really, I’m guessing here - don’t have one of these controllers myself, which unfortunately means that the whole implementation is sort of crude

Disabling Local LED Control in the QuNeo editor made it work fine. Woo!

Is it possible to actually control the LEDs with notes (or if not possible with CCs) in Renoise? Maybe I shouldn’t ask you since you don’t own one, but… I’ve seen it being done in other DAWs.

Depending on the Duplex application (Effect, Keyboard, etc.) different setups - and different types of visual feedback is possible.
It is the code in the application that determine exactly how the controller’s display is updated.

If you want basic feedback from a pressed pad you should consider the Duplex Keyboard - but what exactly are you trying to achieve here?

The feedback is fine! What I want to do is use the QuNeo as a visual effects tool, to basically make it look pretty when performing music on it. I would like to do this using notes in the Renoise patterns and basically enter special LED patterns and so on synced to the song.
