Random Lfos <3

I just thought I’d create this topic in order to profess my love for the random LFO. I keep trying to push myself, find new ways to use it for myself. Step sequencer? Yes. Arp? Yes. Random beatslicer?

Now I’m sure this has been done before, I’m not claiming it’s new. It did surprise me how good it sounds, though. Personally I use it for inspiration for my own patterns, rather than directly using the audio, but I suppose you coul if you like your breakcore a bit more randomised. shrug

Feel free to post your own examples of Random LFO usage. :D

Don’t forget LFOs controlling LFOs

I’ve tried it with [b]il gross beat/b, randomly stepping through the time-presets for maniac beat choppage :) .

how did that turnout?? :D

Nothing in finished song format, but excellent live routine when put on the master channel :)

fun tip: make a random LFO, set it to as slow as it will go (i.e. frozen), then route a velocity device to the “reset” parameter. voila, random parameters for every note triggered! works particularly well on the bit-depth of lofimat.

Now that is a good idea. thanks for that.
