I was just having a brainwave… when it comes to the application of effects like gates, compression, distortion, and EQ to samples, it would be very nice to be able to SEE the resulting waveform as one drags the parameters… anyone know of an app that does this?

I use it to check my compressors/gates/whatever all the time.
Can you tweak that so the break is shown in entirety in the scope without scrolling?
not really … you can freeze it, but I usually just adjust the time so there are like 5 secs displayed in that window, especially with drums/compressors you can easily see whats happening.
