I am using reaper as a rewire host with renoise as the rewire slave.
I know that latency compensation for plugins causes renoise to often skip the first note of a pattern, as the manual states an is more than once explained here in the forum.
Nevertheless, I find this very annoying. It keeps me from instant feedback, especially when I am making a beat in renoise.
To cope with it, I start the playback of the song a few lines back in the preceding pattern. When I am starting a new song, I often insert an empty pattern for this purpose at the beginning of the song.
These are my strategies, did anyone come up with a better, more clever one?
