Recently Bought Renoise...im Happy, But A Few Q's

first off…great program, this is the first sequencer i actually purchased :)

kontakt and renoise is like what the mpc series shoulda been…

well, i use a midi keyboard and the mpd16pads(so dope with renoise)

anyway, i was kinda upset when i realized i couldnt do program changes…but im happy cause the use of changing midi channels is so much easier, just hope i dont run into probems with more than 16 midi channel changes.

so my basic question is…i am having trouble setting up my patterns with a 4/4 time sig. i guess its just my ignorance towards the pattern lines.

in other words…on a speed of 3…how many lines(or the hex code) would i need to achieve 4 bar patterns?

and could someone explain to me how i can sync adobe audition into renoise…with the use of adobe’s midi slav. options i would suspect there would be a way to record vocals in audio while the timing is controlled through midi events within renoise? that would make my setup godlike if i learned this process…

thanks for the fast reply, nope kontakt dont support program changes i believe…renoise does, but it doest help much since i use kontakt. i actually think its quicker for me to do midi channel changes anyway cause i dont have 2 go through the extra process of saving program presets.

i bet with just midi slav enabled, i could leave renoise minimized and it will still work perfectly with just shortcut keys huh?
