Hey, I’m planning to buy a new soundcard, since I’m getting more advanced musician, while my SB Live is getting old and no longer suits my needs. I know there were topics like this, but I have some hard requirements…
first of all: the soundcard MUST have ALSA (www.alsa-project.org) support.
I don’t want to pay for something I won’t use. I need max 2 stereo I/O and a Digital (S/PDIF) I/O and MIDI I/O. I need a low latency card.
I found that M-Audio Delta Audiophile has all the things I need, but maybe someone knows a similar thing for less cash?
If not, I will go for Delta Audiphile.
