Record Midicontroller In Automation Window

Hello, overthere maybe somebody can help me…

I try to record some midicontrollers by using a synthesizers pitch bend and modulaion wheels, I would like to record them only in the automation window. but it automatically gets recorded in the in the instrument controller lane(with all that numbers). The problem for me is when the recording isn’t what I want it to be I have to press ctrl z too many times and when it is only recorded in the automation window, I can change it very easy.

I hope I made myself clear and want I want is possible…

When I use that button it still gets recorded in the pattern section.

Well, the “Record and Play filter” settings allow you to disable midi messages for effect parameter recording, but your midi mappings are still being recorded.
