I’ve done remixes before usually with stems given to me. Usually cutting pieces in order to create something that sounds much different. Right now I’m inspired and determined to make more of an “edit” or “flip” of this generic trap song that I can’t out of my head. Where I imagine the end product would sound quite a bit like the original song but I want to eq out the low end and replace the lower frequency elements with my own sounds and layer the percussive sounds with my own stuff. Has anyone ever used renoise to do this because it seems kind of impossible. Any tips or ideas?
What seems impossible about it? You said you want to eq out the low end, at your own low end, and add your own percussion. Seems straightforward to me…
