0Cxx affects the Track’s DSP volume slider as well where 03XX only affects the audio-channel volume independant from the DSP volume slider position.
Dx and fx allow you to start a note on a later position on the row than from the moment the row is being played and it allows you to stop the note before the row is being terminated in general.
This works for the internal sample ralted instruments as for most VST plugins as well. (exceptions where VST plugins interpret note-off (fx) commands differently)
