Just an idea for an optional ‘Render’ button in the main toolbar, 'cuz it would be neato!

I already use it, made several albums with Renoise, have used it quite possibly several thousand times. Would be kinda nice to have a button that doesn’t pop up a menu and just makes the file. Saves a few steps.

@Jonas what is ‘wat’? Is that how you spell ‘what’?

I see. You mean a button that starts “rendering immediately with the fixed values already set in the dialog".
That could be useful.
If not already possible with tools, etc., it would be useful if implemented as a shortcut key or API.
Changing the title to something like that may help convey the intent.
