Is it possible to listen to what is being rendered during the Render To Sample operation?

Not as far as I know. None of the rendering processes used within Renoise keep the soundcard active. Not even Realtime mode for rendering a song, which is a fairly frequency request so rendering can be done through external effects (for example.)
Okay, thanks. I’ve since realised that you record external gear during playback using the record function in the sample editor. This is good enough for what I need right now.
