I just have to add to the praise of 1.8…
Last night I was showing a musician friend of mine how to use Renoise. He only had a demo of 1.5 and we weren’t connected to the net to get the latest demo. So I had to teach him stuff using 1.5! If anyone has gone back to seriously using 1.5 you’ll appreciate just how far this program has come in a year! It’s a huge step.
I would really not like to use 1.5 now. That is not a criticism of any kind!

Having also used/tested 1.5 and now the 1.8 I was really astounded by the development that has happened in this software…
Never thought a software might be updated like this…
It’s like living in the nineties again when software actually got better after an update.
