Renoise Document Extendable ?

Hi devs,

Refering to the current document probably this isn’t possible, but I was wondering if one could insert self-defined/derived instances of Renoise devices into the DOM-Tree.

The idea actually is to make MIDI mapped tool-functions recordable:

  • Create new Device including 1…n DeviceParameters
  • Create new MIDI-mapped functions so that any MIDI controllers can be mapped to the new device parameters -> already possible
  • record controller data into automation envelopes
