Just asking: Will the constant fumbling of Renoise be fixed in 1.5? I can’t even use it 'cause it just does not work properly. Pretty frustrating when you have to dig up those backups all the time and don’t know when you are suddenly looking at your wallpaper again, without any hope that your work would have been saved.

Yes, Renoise will no longer be a computer program with the 1.5 release. Its has reached some meta state.
Ehm. It would be really helpfull, if you could say us, why when and how it crashes. Thats the only way we can fix this.
We need:
As soon as you can make this crash reproduceable or give us at least hints when/how the crash happend (for example : press the “Render” button and then press renurn on the keyboard → crash) the issue can be fixed by us.
If we dont know why it crashed we dont know where to start searching for the problem.
I particurally meant the thing that is handled in this thread. If u want my stacklogs & stuff I try to find how to put them online for you. My system conf will be availvable for you amog logs if and when I find out if I can put them online somewhere. What I meant with the question is if you had found out anything that would be causing the bahaviour described in the thread, or if it has been under any thought.
I can also describe my problem again:
Renoise crashes
-sometimes when scrolling the pattern list (has been discussed somewhere)
-sometimes just for fun (the thread, note the last Alex Corn’s speech and my last note [don’t know if helpful tho], these are things I remember from my logs. When I have some crashlogs saved I try to make them available)
-some other times just for fun without making any backups and transforming in a blink to my windows background
And does some other strange things like this this but since that is not a big issue and may be due to my system 'cause so few has had this problem.

I have latest DX. I am just upgrading my ATI catalyst. All other drivers are the latest. You never know maybe it is not renoise, but my computer works stable otherwise, so it is possible, even likely.

i’m running on a Radeon 9600XT w/Catalyst 4.3. No problems atm. you might want to try the Omega drivers for Radeon or Nvidia. They have good reviews too.
