Renoise has almost all and even more features than PT. For me main plus is interaction through dedicated buttons, most of all… And fact that I don’t need to use the mouse (my main job is 3d artist and I already have pain in my right arm and shoulder). I’d like to be able to use Renoise completely without mouse, only through keyboard (there is some operations that still require mouse input such as dsp parameter tweaking). Second thing - something like session view in ableton live - for ability to test ideas, make new variations from parts of various patterns.
FYI I have tool called command_palette that aims to provide a unified way to configure more things via the keyboard from a single shortcut, including dsp parameter tweaking (accessible via d in the palette).
I’ve made launch_lanes to help with this particular need.
