Both are very strong iterations! I’m not sure what else could be improved with native implementation beyond what these tools accomplish? I’m not too clued into the tool development side of things on the backend.
I’ve been really happy with Simple Piano Roll. Does everything I need it to. It would be neat if you could do pitch bends in the piano roll, but it’s honestly not the end of the world.
After few bottles of vodka Renoise has SIX piano rolls!!!
