after few minutes “psycho-clicking” in latest 2.1.0.RC2 i’ve found some interesting thing… how to crash renoise2 in 2 seconds ? quick step by step tutorial : run renoise, go to preferences, change texture in theme menu for “grain”, tadam!!
windows7 ultimate rc, (6.1, build 7100)

Which is why the answer to the “Can I send MIDI Data to effect plugins?”-question should be changed on http://tutorials.renoise.com/UC/ApplicationFaq - because now it IS supported.
Actually, that was changed, but that was on my local machine and i forgot to port it over to the public site…
I have fixed this (and added a small how-to as well).

i’m using Win 7 RC 1 build 7100 32bit and haven’t encountered any problems yet. runs fast, runs stable. and it’s many times better than Vista.
works perfectly here on win7 64bit…
but win7 is bullshit… seriously i got enough of windows… iam going with a hackingthosh osx right now on another partition… it runs more stable then win7 does.
i think ill keep it this way until i can finally afford one of the newer mac books.
thats right, win7 7600 32 bit got more stable then 7100 tho’ still when i compare to xp sp3 it sucks. more related to vst/i / asio then to renoise itself.
