Saw a few threads on this and wanted to share my final research on getting this to work…
Using Renoise as rewire master and Reaper as slave, I was able to finally get video playback to work perfectly.
This solution only works if you don’t change the tempo… I ran into a big problem with reaper “stretching” the video to compensate for whatever BPM was in Renoise.
You will need to do the following in Reaper
1:- in the rewire preferences select ignore tempo from master
2:- Right click on your imported movie and select item settings, and check the very bottom option (set item timebase to beats (postition only)
