Renoise Transport Via Midi

Hi Fellows!

I’ve been using Renoise for a little while now and I’ve just bought and setup my new Akai MPK49 controller, and I must say it’s all going swimmingly!

My question is regarding sending Start/Stop/Record commands to Renoise from my keyboard. I’ve set up the keyboard to send MIDI Transport commands, and Renoise recieves these commands. The Start/Stop/FF/RW controls are working perfectly, but for some reason the ‘Record’ button on my MPK49 sends a midi message to Renoise, but obviously it is not the correct message as it does not do anything!

My question is what are the midi messages for the transport controls in Renoise (especially the ‘Record’ one)? It would be nice to get the Record button working too.

Currently there are none and is wished for by many.
If you can in some way hook up the Akai through ReWire you at least have some transport controls though. (this means you will need another host where you slave Renoise to)
