ReWire to Sync With Ableton (might need to reinstall Renoise)

Hi All,

I’m having issues trying to connect Renoise with Ableton Live 11 via ReWire. Ableton does not appear in the list of devices.

I am wondering if this is because I downloaded Ableton AFTER Renoise. In that case, I would need to uninstall/ reinstall Renoise or clear some cache or settings. Both of which I’m not sure how to do.

I also checked that both Ableton and Renoise are 64 bit

If anyone knows how I can fix Rewire OR uninstall/re-instal Renoise please let me know!

for those who want to use rewire: It is disabled by default and not officially supported anymore, since Propellerheads (now Reason Studios) themselves killed Rewire’s development. You can still enable it with options.txt and “-EnableReWire” option. (The “Redist” folder in Live’s install folder still has the ReWire.dll file.)
