Thought I’d make use of dblue’s synced LFO technique to make some wobble.
I had to struggle a bit with this one, editing out a lot of pretty interesting stuff that didn’t really fit. Thought I’d be better off making a short song… well it got pretty long anyway.
Very well. I appreciate any comments as I get a bit tired when working on one track for such a long time. Does the mix/mastering sound ok? How about the arrangement? I was thinking I should make it a bit shorter, but didn’t really want to edit out any more parts.
Cool groove man, and it there’s plenty of interesting textures and weirdnesses to keep me sated throughout. I think you’ve done a fine job of the sonic presentation - smooth journey, yet nice grit. Thumbs up from me.
Thanks guys! I’ve been working on it on and off over three months. So it’s nice to hear that it’s not too long and boring. I like the monotone, but it got to the point where I couldn’t tell if it was repetitive in a nice way or just boring.
Now to adapt it to Grid Pie for a gig in a couple of weeks.
Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader? Hehe! Do you mean the toms with backwards delay?
