wow, you are very fast in development of renoise. Respect.
So i have some advancement idea for the ruler. In general its a great thing to have this ruler.
I think, its easyer to see where you are in the pattern editor, if you see the real row in the top bar of the sample editor. I mean, if you have a song in speed 3 and tempo 100. An ordinary 1 bar beat is 32 rows or you take speed 6 with the same beat, you have only 16 rows.
Could it be better, if you see 32 or 16 in the sample editor.
Of course are all beats relative, you can count it 12345678 or 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 …, but i think more dependency to the speed factor would be nice.
