Sample Editor / Instrument Editor : Idea ?

Hi,

My little idea :

  • one click to select an instrument and to show « Sample Editor »
  • one double-click to select an instrument and to show « Instrument Editor »

What about when people use mouse just to select and does not want to show any editors? Why double clicking to show sample editor? Why not to double click sample to show it? Instrument may be multisampled, so sample needs to be selected anyway sometimes. Why not to:
double click instrument → instrument editor
double click sample → sample editor
as it currently works? Logical? Yes.
