Sample Format And Cpu Usage

Hello, i’ve a simple question and maybe someone can answer to me. (sorry for english but i’m french).

i’ve huge library of samples in wav format (more than 35go).

I want to know if cpu usage depend on sample length.

If i use an sample about 2,5mega length in wav, is cpu usage is more important than same sample in ogg or flac (less size).

I want juste to know if i can convert all my library in ogg to gain performance.

the samples will be converted internally in Renoise before being used in the module, so you will not gain any performance: the sound will loose in quality and also Renoise will be slower in loading the module
