I think it would be a nice feature if you could automate the position of the ‘loop start’ and the ‘loop end’ in a sample or use a pattern effect command to change these positions. Would this be at all possible?
It would indeed be cool. You could conceivably emulate it at the moment through use of sample offset and volume envelopes…though this is the kind of feature which would spawn a new production technique simply because it made it easy to do.
