Sample to become instrument?

Hi guys

I must be crazy but for some reason I can not find option to draw volume over sample that will turn sample into instrument… I hope I explained well. Last time I wanted to do non-destructive sample editing - I think the menu was somewhere between Mixer and SampleEditor?

Expand the Envelopes section in the Instrument Settings.
