Schism Tracker still a thing?

Sorry for that blasphemic question, but is anyone here using Schism Tracker?

Not a ‘thing’ around here… Schism takes discipline & patience to learn but some of the absolute best tunes are done in it especially with the Russian Groups & they care not what everyone else is using…

Playing with it the last days. The keyboard centric workflow is awesome. You really don’t need the mouse at all. One can even move envelope points with the keyboard. The sample functions are of course limited compared to Renoise. There are no DSP effects like reverb, delay. Still i’m motivated to make some tracks with it. Maybe modifiying samples just with Audacity to keep it simple.

Yesterday I played with the inbuilt patches from the Yamaha chip. It’s possible to get some interesting sounds out of it after adding some pattern FX.

This is what i have been trying to tell Renoise users and tried to tell via Paketti having ST3/IT2/Schism features. Yes its a thing and so is zTracker. Look it up. We r resurrecting it and turning it multiplatform.
