Script Suggestion - Loop Point Controller

I know this has been mentioned a few times - by others and myself… but since it’s not around, as far as I know, I figured I’d post it here:

I’m still hoping for the ability to control the loop points of any type of loop, as set in the sample editor, preferably through automation. A script for this would be great… and well, if/when I ever have the time to figure it out - I will. However, if someone can come up with this before then - that would be great.

It would make a great function for creating custom glitches and well… I still like programming all those by hand. Right now, this type of control can be done through Helios - a free VST by Tobybear… but it would be nice to be able to do this in Renoise directly.
