When I have a lot of dsp effects on a track and I try to move around the pattern editor with the arrow keys, just up and down, it gets very slow for the cursor to move, yet if I go to the next track (which has less fx) the scrolling is fast and normal again.
Is there any way around this? It’s very annoying to work with. I’ve tried turning off effect and animations in the preferences but it makes no difference.
hm… well, you can try this:
set a lower buffer in the audio settings and make sure you’re using asio,
otherwise, your computer most probably simply can’t handle it, hide the top frame see if it helps, disable scrolling and see if it helps, hide the right frame and see if it helps, disable any tools and see if it helps
It seems it was the Snapshot tool, I thought I already had it disabled.
