How do I use send tracks? I’m putting a delay on the send track and putting a send device on a column, but I’m getting nothing. What am I doing wrong?

Hmm sounds like you’re doing the right thing… make sure that the name of the send track specified in the send device is the same as the name of the send track that has the delay, and make sure that the send track isn’t muted, but that’s it.
What do you mean when you say you’re getting nothing? Are you getting no sound at all, even from the original track, or just no delay?
Do you mean S0, S1, etc? If so, then I’m doing things right. I only have a S0 send track, I put a delay there just to test, and put a send device in a track column, just for the heck of it.
I can see that there is activity on the S0 track once I can see sound waves moving there, I’m getting sound but just the regular column sound, but I’m not getting any delay from the send track. And the send device is unmuted.
I also tried other things like putting a compressor in the send track and doing the same as above. And nothing.
Don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
Make sure, that the Amount fader from the Send device is above 0% and the Send fader from the delay above 0%.
I believe both of them where at 100%.
Be sure you are on highest level of CPU usage in Config.
