Hello pplz! I have a trouble with setting the hotkey for “Renaming instrument”… I can’t find it in preferences to change 
And default shortkey “Ctrl+R” doesn’t work for me O_o
That’s because your keyboard focus is locked to the main editor. Turn that off and then click anywhere within the instrument list, the corners of this section should light up showing that that’s in focus now. Ctrl+R will work now.
It’s at the top in View>Lock keyboard focus. That or F8.
Unfortunately you have to disable this function every time you start up RNS2.

answer is simple…
You can also Alt-click a window to put the focus on it. Ctrl-(Shift)-Tab is another way to focus the area that you want to use the keyboard for.
