it was exported from Renoise, with no FX on the master channel. In fact there was very little FX across the entire track.
So he had the stereo file to master. we ended up loosing some bass to make it hit harder, I think that paid off
So you got to watch while the engineer mastered it?
No but he works by where I work so I spoke to him about it a few times
