Next level - smartphone screen - anybody?

Happy neighbors

On Android I actually played with FL Studio Mobile, Caustic 3, Kaossilatorā€¦ but a bit like playing Candy Crush, nothing important hahahaā€¦ maybe so I donā€™t get bored when I spend 6 hours on a trainā€¦

I can never stick for too long in touchscreen DAWs or apps. Itā€™s too cumbersomeā€¦ Like, Sunvox is such a pain to use without a keyboard! The best you can probably do is emulate a console and use a gamepad tracker such as LGPTracker.

this is my dream tbh lol

I donā€™t regret this choice :slightly_smiling_face:

I use the mobile version of SunVox only to review others tracks from the community, or to do some simple melody drafts.

I normally use it on my PC, or ipad with a keyboard, because I canā€™t live without ctrl-t and ctrl-i, and shift click to the controller to assign automation.

I agree your point; I canā€™t really think of any software that works well with touch screen. I have also tried music studio, FL studio mobile, korg gadget, and caustic but none of them really works as great as with a keyboard because not only the screen is too small for writing notes or dragging the sliders, but also our fat fingers are just all thumbs because the surface area is large relatively to the screen, making precision editing improbable.

I really have no idea what interface is suitable for mobile devices if they only offer a touch screen.

How are you enjoying the KO133?

More than I thought I would. Itā€™s honestly really limited but has some really useful and unique features, such as the clicky pads (which I love) and the built-in speaker (itā€™s more useful than I thought it would be). The workflow is also really fast and straight to the point compared to the SP404 but Iā€™ve been using it mainly as a drum pad for recording MIDI stuff.

Yeah i fancy a mini hardware sampler, was looking at SP404 or KO133. Mainly just to lie in bed and jam on, make stuff to sample into a DAW, etc. Im worried about them ending up being gateway drugs into more hardware though lol.

These are PMC Speakers?

Edit: obviously

Indeed

Never heard them as they are not that common in Germany. Did you compare them to something else (Adam, Neumann, Focal, etc.?)

I used ATC, Genelec, KRK and Adams before moving to PMC. Iā€™m quite happy with the resolution and they way they translate. I think a big part of what makes them great is the fact they sound the same at low and high volume.
