After finishing a 29 hour, 13 minute game of civilization (domination victory @ 1818AD, 6447 points, nearest rival 1935 polishes fingernails), I had a brainwave! It’d be cool to have something that keeps an idle timer running in the background, so you can see how long you’ve spent on each track overall (not at all inspired by Sid’s civ game timer or anything 
)
Of course, it wouldnt include any scrapped edits…but a quirky idea useful for time management perhaps?
I dunno.
There has been some talk about having statistics before. I wouldn’t mind having it. I.e. amounts of native, meta, vst and vsti devices used, number of automation envelopes and points, number of instruments and samples used, and different comparative and average statistics on them. Total length of all samples used, a list over most and least used notes/samples/instruments/devices/etc in a track, selection or whole song,… There is so much I want to know!
While we’re at it, we could add a “how good it sounds” stat
