Smartypants Question Regarding Renaming Files

Hey,

I’d like to contribute a couple of loops to the renoise loop project, but encounter a problem when it comes to the submission rules; you may not have spaces in the file names.

Since there are quite a few loops I’d like to submit, right mouse clicking / renaming them in windows automatically converts the file names, BUT also introduces an unwanted space in them. Example: “perc_170_plugexpert_schaamlip (5)” , while I’d like it to be “perc_170_plugexpert_schaamlip(5)”

Is there a way I can,…some program that allows me to, select multiple files and somehow delete all the spaces in them?

ReNamer (currently at version 5.25) will allow you to apply pretty much any renaming rule(s) you can think of to batches of files. You can then save these rules for re-use if you like. It’s the most powerful one I’ve used, or ever needed :o)
