This is something that is being applied in every other software… You can MUTE a track, or two, and then solo another, the muted tracks are remembered when the solo is off…
…it does not function like this in renoise currently, it just puts every channel ON…
This has been bugging me too. I almost never use the solo function for this reason. It would be a lot more useful if the solo and mute buttons were independent.
