[solved] Can't open XRNS

Download someones XRNS file from the forum. Tried to open and keep getting this

Loading failed with the error:

‘…’ was saved with an incompatible, more recent version of Renoise

Downloaded the newest version but still get this every time? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is your Renoise version? (check in Renoise “Help” -> “About” menu)

Which OS are you on?

It was several XRNS that I was trying to open.

The latest Renoise is version 3.1 Seburo, so you are probably trying to open a 3.1 xrns song in 3.0.1. If you have a license you can grab Renoise 3.1 from the backstage, or you can download the demo of 3.1 from the Renoise website :slight_smile:

Yeah works fine now. For some reason I thought I had the latest version.
