Hey,
In Renoise 3.0.1 and below (all the way back to when slices were introduced), playing a slice out of an instrument would still cause the green playback indicator to show up on the main sample. This became a major part of my workflow, because it let me quickly locate where a particular slice was in the main sample so that I could tweak the slice position.
Would be wonderful to have this back.
