like on kvr… if a topic your watching gets a reply you will receive email…
i figured this would save time for everyone and also save bandwidth on the long run ?

Look to your right for the [Options] menu button.
From there, choose the ‘Track this topic’ option.

maybe he wanted this function to be built into Renoise? 
I think he wanted to restrict the feature to this topic only
