[solved] Linux, Jack: Multiple audio outputs

Hello,

It would be nice to have multiple, assignable, audio outputs instead of only stereo out (at least that’s the case in Linux).

Hi!

You mean like “Preferences->Audio->In/Out Device” (with jack as driver selected, just name how many channels you’d like)

Then below each channel in the “Mix” View you can assign outputs to it. If you have no listboxes there, select them to be visible to the far right of the mix view, in 3.1 the lowest button there.

For inputs you can use the line-in device.

Connect your stereo pairs at will via a jack controlling software.

I hope you meant something like this, and not stuff like 5.1 surround instead of stereo.

Sorry for the delay. Yes, this is it ! Didn’t knew about that before. This is great.
