[Solved] Tal-Dub Ii Vst 'Thread Gui Error'

Ey,

Been having Tal-Dub II vst crash for a long time now in Renoise after closing down a song that uses it. It gives me the /‘crashed in VST event/function ’ dispatch’ thread: ‘GUI’./ error screen.

Strange thing is that it doesn’t happen all the time. After trying to reproduce the crash, sometimes it happens 3 times in a row, sometimes 10 times nothing, no consistency in this.

Since this might be a strictly vst error, I’ve contacted the author to try and find out if it can be fixed. Today I’ve received an updated version of his plugin, but unfortunately it still crashed.

In his mail he wrote me:

Perhaps you, the Renoise devs, may have an idea why this crash is happening? :)

Piece from the log on the crash when I’ve shut down a song:

No, we’re closing the view before shutting off the VST. I ll contact him and help him debugging this…

Cool! thnx

Thanks for contacting him Taktik!

Just tested his latest update and adding 100 tal-dub II’s didn’t crash after starting a new empty song!
