Gosh, you really are rude. There really is no need for that, you know. You don’t gain anything from it.
Android piracy is nothing in comparison to piracy on other platforms, like Windows and OSX. The only reason that iOS doesn’t have a piracy problem is that it’s a walled garden, which in my opinion is unacceptable and ought to be illegal. If piracy were the only reason not to use Android then perhaps the Windows version of Renoise should also be scrapped, after all, it’s the platform where the most piracy occurs.
What did I miss? What’s the deal with android/ios versions?
I think the 3 current platforms covers very well. Focus on getting Renoise even more powerful instead of supporting more platforms. And if you’re on the road, bring your laptops folks. My two cents

Trackers do not work well on touch screen devices in my experience. Using Sunvox on my ipod touch was a struggle, as was NitroTracker on my nintendo ds.
Technically, it’s “mov ax, b800h” since ax is 16bit register, unless this is some wierd assembler syntax I’ve not seen before.
Also, presumably you mean 0xb8000, since that’s the start of video text display memory

Sorry to read this thread go sour for no reason at all. It was fun up until a few hours ago. I wondered if maybe Esaruoho was mentally ill, but looking at his other posts he doesn’t seem to be. I couldn’t imagine using a tracker on a touch screen, to be honest. Then again, I don’t like touch screens!
Isn’t sunvox a tracker that uses a touch interface? I wonder how they handle inputting notes.
Nothing but different opinions will arise.
But I think mobile OS’es should only be used for automation and arrangement, anything else would be too cumbersome. But it really makes totally sense to do a Renoise companion.
Anyway take a look at the alpha version leaked by Conner, that’ll get you inner compass working again.
