This is maybe suggested already a while back… but i just want to say it again then…
Please implement a vst and vsti groupng feature… so i can create a group of filter effects, a group of amp/distortion effects or whatever group i would like to make… (perhaps group them by developer)
Right now its very messy… especially effects. Instruments grouping is little lower priority for me but it would be very nice also.
Good idea! As the current scrollmenu doesnt support submenus/categories, maybe the background of the scrollmenu could have a certain color according to group. That way there is atleast no need for creating a totally new menutype, and would be very useful.
this one been suggested ages ago, many people suggested, including me. i remember what taktik said me when i reminded about the suggestion to him, but i won’t publish it, i don’t what to ruin his reputation of a good coder
but anyway, this whole tab panel should be reviewed, it’s ok for buttons, but it’s crap for dsp listing and automation editing, there are should be separate visuals for proper automation editing, dsp handling, and everything else what doesn’t require everyday using.
i’m proud of the fact that even weirdos remember all of my 550 posts, i believe they spell it every night. it gives me more power to post the magic crap. thank you, dear supporter!
I wrote it in the past thread… I’ll write this here as well.
What’s with this “developer sorting” ?
To me it just does NOT happens to say stuff like
“Hmm… now that I’m done with these notes… let me see, what steinberg effect can I put here?”
it rather happens that I say like
“hmm… now that I’m done with these notes… let me see, what delay can I use here?”
Sorting VSTi and VSTefx could be very usefull.
Sorting them under developer name it just makes no sense to me…
But even better would be, if the ‘most-used’ Plugins appers to the top of the window afterwards, cause sometimes its boring to scroll all the way down to make 5 tracks applying ‘Send Track’
