Renoise 2.8.1 windows xp 32 bit. Looking in the log it says failed to load, has anyone else had this?
This plugin needs updating Direct X (see the Redeme.txt).

Works fine here. (on Vista 32bit) 
rescan previously failed vst in the preferences did it for me.
I have tried updating Direct X and rescanning even tried it in a new vst directory but still fails to load.
Have you tried asking him, or on the kvr dedicated developers challenge compo this plugin is part of?
Maybe there are some specifics to this vst and the system you’re running?

from your post there:
it is cached in the failed plugins right now, I had the same thing when I first tried to get it working here. Go to edit/preferences/plug/misc tab and make sure you check rescan previously failed plugins, now press the rescan button.
Maybe close & boot-up Renoise, try again if it doesn’t grab soundrider right away.
Also tried this and its still failing.
