will the soundcards converters play a role when rendering inside renoise. Or is it all in the program.

it’s all done by the software, the soundcard does not matter
Soundcard ADDA (Analog to Digital / Digital to Analog) effects only: 1. What you record in. 2. What you hear (very important for mixing).
Renoise, set at whatever bit depth and sample rate YOU choose effects: 1. The quality of the effects and synth processing. 2. The chosen quality of your rendered mix.
So say if you render a 32bit 96khz mix and take it to some nice studio with a $42000 soundcard it should sound as theoretically amazing as a digital 32-96 mix is ever going to sound. However if you’ve mixed that song using an el-cheapo soundcard the chances are you’ve made a mess of the mix.
Even worse is when people record the output of their soundcard playing their song and then re-recording back into the same card or another. ALL soundcards have a frequency response curve, the cheaper ones being messier.
