Source For Old Manuals

I just inherited a Numark DM 1775a mixer, made in Japan in the late 80s/early 90s and was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to start sourcing the manual for it. Preferably just a scan of it. I’ve emailed Numark and they have no info and I’ve trawled google searches with no joy.

Any help is much appreciated.

Frankly, I did the same thing you did and bumped into the same stuff. Additionally I searched in German and in Russian and found a couple of threads with people with the same unsolved problem. Apparently, Numark was under different ownership, and now they don’t give an eff about the products released before.
I think you’re pretty much in a dead end, your best luck is to find an equipment nerd or someone who has this mixer and let them drive you through it.

Or you can just:
1.Find the original owner
2. Since he doesn’t know anything, ask him about the engineer
3. Find the engineer, and since he is probably 60 years old and speaks only Japanese…
5. … contact him through google translate
6.???
7.PROFIT!!!

BTW, I’ll have to congratulate you!! It seems to be a rare find!

daaam mate, u got a rare fat thing! dj krush have this!

This looks questionable but maybe. “Shields up Dr Sulu” as it were.

If there was a mixer model above or below that one you may find the manual for that which could have a portion of what you want to know.
Hows that for a non answer.

Cheers guys, yeah the mixer is sweet. Still sounds really good apart from a bit of noise in the sample/effect section. Been blasting some dub through it. The EQ section is really really responsive. I’m chuffed to bits with it.
