im linux-based and using vsts is a little tricky and unpleasant on renoise for linux…so im looking for a easy tool to use vsts apart then import what i want in renoise later.
i installed a windows virtual machine using virtualbox, so i got a windows desktop on wich i can install and work. i just want to load vsts and record these sounds, then go back to linux…do any of you know some softs i could use for this purpose??thanks!
you could install the windows version of renoise on that virtual machine and use the instrument grabber to create .xrni instruments and use those with your linux renoise. If i undestood you right, you’re only interested in sounds/instruments/synths and not fx, so this would be a simple solution (if your vm runs good enough). you need a licensed version of renoise though… but if you have one for linux you can also download the win version.
