Bought this one too simply for the editor though. One can do quite nice gfx with it. The picture linked below is based on some custom seed further edited in a gfx program.
Recently I was given Left 4 Dead 2 as a gift… havent had time to play it much, only the first singleplayer-mission, but multiplayer was hectic action. IGN gave it 9.0 and its ten dollaz now in Steam. Just in case I someday need to blow out some steam (and zombies) with Renoisers
Added you on Steam. Played quite a lot of L4D, mainly the survival mode were we’re even holding some records. Not playing it that much currently, simply because i’m getting a bit tired of it, but feel free to hit me up at some point or if you’re going for expert mode campaigns.
During checkout you can choose to buy the item as gift and send it either directly to a person on your friendslist or to a mail address of your choice. If your friend does not have Steam installed, he/she should create his/her own account. The gift mail contains a link, which he/she can use then to redeem the gift.
The biggest sale on Steam has started today. It will last 2 weeks and offer each day a new selection of games as “daily deal” with extra high discounts. Additionally nearly the whole shop has discounts applied too. Usual buying strategy is to only grab the daily offers if something is tempting and wait for the rest until the very last day and buy then. This will avoid frustration, if the game is offered at an even higher discount on a daily.
Waa! Thanks for the tip! I think I’m going to get the 1&2 combo. Never played either one, but loved the HL2-games, and have been hearing nothing but praise for these. And having seen a couple of these sales, I doubt the price will drop… But you never know. It’s frustrating. 75% is enough for me, though. Hey! Since when was Super Meat Boy available for mac!? 75% on that one too. I liked VVVVV very much, so I think I’ll grab that one too. Damn, so many great titles!
EDIT: Got 'em. Now, let’s see. How to translate “I got me some games for christmas” into wifean?
Portal 2 is a daily deal, so no, this won’t get a better price.
Basically anything shown on the frontpage in that grid view and probably the games shown in the list of objectives for that gift pile thingie should be safe instant buys. For the rest i would wait till last day with purchasing.
