Step Skip

Hi everyone,

I don’t know if I’ve missed something or if this function is simply not available in Renoise, but I am wondering if there is a button that skips [or can be assigned to skip] the current cursor position and simply move the cursor to the next step in the editor [in accordance with the step length] without entering or removing any data. So far it has been easy enough to do on completely empty tracks with the ‘delete’ key, but of course if there’s something there already, you may not want to delete it, and that, in essence, is the problem.

Thank you for any and all advice. If such function does not exist, I will post this under the future feature suggestions.
